Challenge is to China for making this bridge, Prime Minister will inaugurate today



The Modi government of the Center is going to complete three years on May 26. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the country's largest bridge in Assam. Not only the country but it is going to get Asia's longest Dhola-Saadia bridge. Located on the southern bank of the river Brahmaputra, this bridge will connect Dhola with Sadiya situated on the northern coast. The length of this bridge is 9.15 kilometers.

1. Asia's longest bridge

It is not only India but also the longest bridge in Asia. The construction work of this bridge started in 2011. The cost of this project was Rs 950 crores. The bridge will also save time with reducing the distance between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

2. Ability to bear loads of military tanks

Its design has been designed to meet the needs of defense. Over 60 tonnes of fighter tanks can be easily transported from this. Through this bridge, the movement of the army will be easy.

3. Will save time

It took 8 hours and another 4 and 4 hours by boat from the other road to Arunachal. But, traveling on this bridge, it will be able to complete this distance in half an hour i.e. save at least 4 hours.

4. Assam will develop

Due to this bridge, the reach of development will be accessible to the Northeast of Assam. For fast movement, the bridge has been built in such a way that the trains can run on it at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
