Died after drinking Insecticide
Another farmer loan went up in Punjab A young farmer of village Chuhanke Khurd of the district committed suicide by drinking pesticides. He was troubled by heavy debt. Because of the debt all his land was sold. Despite this he was not discharged.
There was a loan of eight lakhs
Jagger Singh, a 32 year old farmer of village Chuhanke Khurd, got pesticide and gave him life. Jagasir's wife Gursharanandeep Kaur told that her husband had a debt of about seven to eight lakh rupees. All their land was sold due to loan. For this reason, there was no saving of livelihood for the family. Because of this, Jagsir was very stressed.
Dead body handed over to family
Jagsir suede after drinking a sapre by going to the drain away from home late on Wednesday night. Hakam Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Thana Mahal Kalan informed that Jagsir was the only earning member of the family. Her father had already died. His family has wife and two small children. They told that after taking action on the basis of the statement of the wife, the body was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
